Classic Velvet is Velvet Roast's flagship medium roast, built from coffees from Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala and Ethiopia. Its intended tasting profile is toffee, dark chocolate and soft citrus.

No flavoring is implied by our tasting notes. “Toffee,” “dark chocolate” and “soft citrus” describe sensory impressions expected from the roasted coffee.

It is an approved Velvet Roast brand standard. Before public launch, the final sourcing documentation and any specific supporting language should be aligned with the roasting partner so the site describes that standard accurately and does not imply certifications that are not held.
